FocusRetro product tour video
Thirty-eight seconds, no narration, no sign-up: a retrospective from the template picker to action items with owners and due dates. Press play, then read the scene-by-scene breakdown underneath.
What the video shows, scene by scene
The tour is silent by design — every line below appears on screen, so this list is also the transcript.
- 0:00
The premise
“Retros that end with decisions, not vague agreement.”
A dark title card with the FocusRetro logo, and the strapline: the online retrospective tool for agile teams.
- 0:03
Set up in seconds
“Pick a template. Share a link. Done.”
The template picker, next to three promises the rest of the video has to earn: ready-made templates, guests join from a link, no accounts and no setup decks.
- 0:07
The board
“One calm board for the whole conversation.”
A populated retrospective board — columns, cards, reactions, votes, timer, and session controls on one surface, with the action items counter closing out in the corner.
- 0:13
Honest input first
“Anonymous cards. Blind votes. Zero anchoring.”
Reactions and votes on live cards. Private writing and hidden results surface the quiet signals before the room converges on the loudest opinion.
- 0:17
Facilitation without drift
“Timers that keep 20 people moving.”
A running phase timer during a voting round: per-stage countdowns, locked phases, one-click moderation.
- 0:21
Actions that survive Monday
“Themes become owners, due dates, done.”
The action items sidebar, where a decision turns into an accountable task with an owner and a due date that the team reviews automatically at the start of the next retro.
- 0:25
The whole loop
“Raw feedback to owned improvement in one flow.”
Three steps side by side: collect signal, focus the room, close the loop.
- 0:31
Close
“Give your team a calmer way to say the important thing.”
The closing card: free forever plan, no credit card, guests join from a link.
What the video does not show
Thirty-eight seconds buys the loop, not the details. The things teams usually ask about next are the ones a video is bad at answering: pricing is one flat rate for the whole team rather than per seat, so the number of people in the retro never changes the bill; security states plainly which certifications we do not yet hold; and the template library goes well past the four formats that fit in the frame.
The same video plays on the FocusRetro home page, alongside a click-through tour of each screen at your own pace.
Run the retro in the video
Free forever plan, guests join from a link with no accounts, and action items that are still alive next sprint.

Where to go next
Pricing
One flat rate per team, what each plan includes, and what the same team costs on a per-seat tool.
Retrospective templates
The formats in the video and the rest of the library, each with an example board and a facilitation guide.
