# FocusRetro

> FocusRetro is an online retrospective tool for agile and remote teams: anonymous feedback, blind voting, focused timers, and action items that get done.

FocusRetro (https://focusretro.com) is an online retrospective tool for agile, remote, and hybrid teams. It is built around three ideas: honest input (private writing, anonymous cards, blind voting), focused facilitation (stage timers, locked phases, topic grouping, moderation controls), and follow-through (action items with owners, due dates, and status that are reviewed at the next retrospective).

## About the company

FocusRetro is built by a small team operating from within the European Union. It exists because retrospective tools were priced per seat, metered by boards per month, and built around the meeting rather than the fortnight after it — so the product is organized around the full loop and priced as one flat rate per team.

Revenue comes only from subscriptions: no advertising, and no sale of personal data. Some things are left out on purpose — per-seat pricing, a long integrations grid (Jira and Slack only), an email gate on the free tools, and any certification badge the company has not actually earned (no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 yet, stated plainly at https://focusretro.com/security).

Contact: support@focusretro.com (general), security@focusretro.com (vulnerability reports), privacy@focusretro.com (GDPR requests). Full origin story: https://focusretro.com/about

## Key features

- Online retrospective boards with one-click templates: Went Well / To Improve / Action Items, Mad Sad Glad, Start-Stop-Continue, 4Ls, or a blank board with custom columns for any other format
- Anonymous feedback and hidden cards during writing to reduce groupthink
- Blind voting: votes are revealed only after everyone has voted
- Facilitation timers and locked phases for writing, voting, and discussion
- Action items with owners, due dates, status, and a dashboard reviewed before the next meeting
- Guest access from a link, with no account required for participants
- Works for async and hybrid teams across time zones
- PDF and CSV exports
- Enterprise controls: SAML SSO, workspace analytics, data retention windows, expiring guest links

## Use cases

Sprint retrospectives, incident post-mortems, quarterly team health checks, remote workshops, leadership listening sessions, product discovery debriefs, project kick-offs, and team agreements.

## Pricing

Full pricing page: https://focusretro.com/pricing

Pricing is flat per team, not per user or per seat. Inviting more people never changes the price.

- Starter: free forever (3 personal boards per month, core retro templates, voting and reactions, phase timers, action items)
- Team: $12 per month billed annually, or $15 billed monthly — one flat price for the whole team (1 shared workspace, unlimited boards, unlimited workspace members, private and restricted boards, board passwords)
- Business: custom annual pricing (everything in Team, 5 workspaces, admin controls, SAML SSO)

All paid plans include a 14-day trial. No credit card is required to start.
